Thuc Vu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University. He is a serial entrepreneur and a social entrepreneur. His ventures include co-founding Tappy, a hyperlocal social app that has been acquired by Weeby.co, and Katango, a social app, acquired by Google. He is also a co-founder of VietSeed, a nonprofit organization that helps underprivileged students in Vietnam obtain a college education. Thuc Vu is a prominent figure in the Vietnamese tech startup ecosystem and is often seen as the connector between Vietnamese and Silicon Valley players. We spoke with him about the adoption and commercialization of blockchain technology in October 2019.
