Dear Kambrians,

Have you ever admired or felt that someone in your area is constantly a motivator, making significant contributions to the community and your field? If yes, kindly nominate them for Deeptech Expert Nomination so that others can learn more about them as well as be part of the Kambria Expert Network (Open Innovation Hub), mentoring technology projects and evaluating project quality.

Contest Rules

1. Nomination

Participants will create a video or design an infographic or write a blog article to:

     👉 Introduce the expert you want to nominate: 

  • Deeptech category:  AI/Robotics/Blockchain/AR-VR/IoT
  • Name and Company
  • Bio and Contact: LinkedIn, email, photo…
  • Contributions to Community: we would especially love to honor those dedicated to sharing and guiding the next generation of developers, and help plant the seeds of technological breakthroughs. 

     👉 Share your comments about this expert:

  •  Why do you nominate this expert?
  •  Why should the community vote for this expert?

You must mention or tag Kambria in your entry and post, particularly referring to our Open Innovation Hubs

You must log in/register and submit your work on Kambria Bounty Portal with these steps: 

     👉 Go to the Deeptech Expert Nomination Contest #1 page 

     👉 Clicking on the “Take The Quiz” button (register/log in to Kambria Platform is required)

     👉 Filling in the form with the required question.

Call for more Kambria community members to vote.

2. Qualification

Kambria will qualify for Nomination letters and Nominated Experts. 

  • Each member can nominate 1 Expert.
  • Nominations of an Expert who is already nominated by another member will be categorized as unqualified.

With qualified Experts, Kambria will reach out to invite them to join the Nomination list as well as Kambria Discord to review their information and chat with our community.

3. Voting

  • Community to vote for Experts to be honored in Kambria Expert Network.
  • Voters must be active members of the Kambria Discord community in order for their vote to be legitimate.
  •  An active member is determined by the MEE6 Leaderboard with Experience 30 at least.
  • Each member can only vote 1 time for 1 project.

4. Rewards

  • Each Nominator of the Top 5 experts with at least 20 votes will receive the reward of 100$ in KYTE.
  • All experts on the Nomination list will be honored in Kambria Expert Network for suitable collaboration opportunities.

Timeline

  • Week 1 (June 30): Announcement
  • Week 2-3 (June 30 – 5 PM UTC July 14 ): Nomination 
  • Week 4 (July 15 – 5 PM UTC July 21): Qualification
  • Week 5 (5 PM UTC July 21  – 5 PM UTC July 28 ): Voting 
  • Week 6 (July 28 – August 04): Result announcement
  • Week 7 (August 04 – August 11): Rewards
  • Week 8-11 (August 11 – September 08): Experts are being honored in Kambria Expert Network (Open Innovation Hub)

Minigame

Besides that, we have a Minigame called Community Questions throughout this contest

  • A Kambrian (not a nominator) can raise a question to a nominated expert that you are interested in by replying to the nominated expert’s introduction message.  
  • The 10 most interesting questions, as chosen by the nominated experts or the Kambria team, will each get $10 in KYTE.
