We are so proud of Kambria’s amazing team around the globe. Over the next few weeks, we will spotlight our leadership team to share a bit about why they are so passionate about Kambria and developing a community. This week we introduce you to Dr. Minh Nguyen, Kambria’s Research Lead.

Minh is truly a gem! She graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a Ph.D. in Genetics and is an enthusiast of cancer study and its genetic root. She received her Bachelor’s of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biochemistry from George Mason University and was awarded the best graduate student for her class. Minh believes that an active, open robotics and AI platform such as Kambria’s will advance research in every field exponentially, especially in the medical sciences.

What led you to Kambria and excites you most about this project?

It was Thuc, the co-founder of Kambria, who inspired me to join Kambria. The one thing that excites me the most about this project is the idea of open innovation. I believe with open innovation, we can truly speed up a lot of things.

Have you always been involved in robotics or blockchain?

No. It is my first time. I started to learn about blockchain and robotics when I joined Kambria.

What Kambria vertical are you most excited or passionate about?

With a medical background, I am most interested in the medical vertical of Kambria. I hope with Kambria’s medical vertical, we can shorten the usually lengthy R&D process in the medical field.

As a futurist, where do you envision Kambria in the next 1–3 years? What about the impact of robotics & AI on society?

Kambria will be the first of its kind to help people securely share their innovations and discoveries. AI and robotics will be an indispensable part of our society. It will help us to have a better living experience.

What is your motto?

Be kind.

Who do you most admire?

Jesus.

What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?

My kids love me.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our community?

“It’s the time you spent on your rose that makes your rose important.” (From “The Little Prince” by Exupery).

What questions do you have for Minh? Stay tuned for more stories like this over the next couple of weeks. And thank you for supporting our community!
