We are so proud of Kambria’s amazing team around the globe. Over the next few weeks, we will spotlight our leadership team to share a bit why they are so passionate about Kambria and developing a community. This week we introduce you to Son Tu, a talented Developer and Mathematician.
Son Tu attended Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and majored in Computer Engineering. Before Kambria, Son Tu worked at Infinity Blockchain Labs as a Fullstack Developer.
As part of our team, Son Tu works in Research and Development as a Backend Developer, Blockchain Developer, and Researcher. Son Tu has deep knowledge of cryptocurrency and machine learning and is passionate about cryptocurrency, discrete mathematics, probability, and statistics. Son Tu is a dynamo and we are grateful for his expertise.
What led you to Kambria and excites you most about this project?
In my point of view, the Kambria platform is an innovative combination of Robotics, AI and Blockchain which are key roles in the next revolution of the world. And my aspiration to be one of the pioneers to drive the platform to new achievements led me to Kambria.
With so many blockchain projects, Kambria is a rare project that tries to accelerate the robotics industry, with a robust team and a great founder. It convinced me it was a cool project.
Have you always been involved in robotics or blockchain?
Yes, I have. My graduate degree is in Computer Engineering which means I mainly studied Hardware, Robotics as a student. After that, I started my career as a blockchain developer and now have been working in this capacity for about 3 years.
What element of the Kambria platform are you most excited or passionate about?
I fell in love with Math and have always loved to utilize it into my work. Kambria is implementing a platform based on Blockchain and a lot of parts need to be reached by Cryptography. Fortunately, that aspect of the project is fertile for development which makes me excited to utilize my Math knowledge.
As a futurist, where do you envision Kambria in the next 1–3 years? What about the impact of robotics & AI on society?
In the next 1–3 years, I strongly believe Kambria may become one of the most well-known blockchain projects that provides every single function that both developers and end-users can conveniently create amazing products in their vertical.
In another aspect, Kambria will be viewed as a fair protocol, when everyone willing to spread their ideas, to discuss the solutions, and to consent to the best solutions will drive and improve Kambria, and everyone will be handsomely rewarded for their contribution.
Robotics & AI may change the world as computers did. Humans will gradually be familiar with robots and will communicate with them daily, allowing them to simplify our life. At that time, we can focus on the higher mission to perfect reality and reach our the future. That’s how the world is developing.
What is your motto?
A boy talks, a man acts, but a gentleman inspires.
Who do you most admire?
Ngô Bảo Châu, the first Vietnamese national to receive the Fields Medal.
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
I was the Second prize winner in the City-Ranking Math Contest for Excellent Students for 2011–2012. I also won the consolation prize in Econometrics and Applications Olympiad in 2017.
What questions do you have for Son Tu? Stay tuned for more stories like this over the next couple of weeks. And thank you for supporting our community!
