Greetings Kambrians,

Kambria’s Token Bridge is now available! We are ready to begin migrating our current circulating supply from the Ethereum blockchain over to Binance Chain’s BEP-2 protocol. We are excited for our community as we transition to Binance Chain in preparation for listing on Binance DEX, the world’s largest decentralized exchange. Binance DEX provides both Kambria and the community many benefits, including non-custodial, high liquidity trading, and a very secure wallet. We hope that you are as thrilled with this news as we are!

Please note that this is a one-way swap. We are now preparing for the next stages in development as we have now released the full launch of our Open Innovation Platform. In addition to this step-by-step blog, we’ve created a video tutorial for you, which you will find below.

Kambria Token Bridge

Swapping your tokens using the Kambria Token Bridge is a simple process. We hope you find the process to be intuitive and simple to use. Just follow the steps below and you will have your BEP-2 KAT in a few moment’s notice! This tutorial is focused on using MetaMask for swapping your KAT; however, there are several different wallet options you can use to interact with the token bridge. If you are using a wallet that does not connect to the bridge, do not worry! You can process your swap manually, but be careful to follow all of the instructions for depositing your ERC-20 KAT into the deposit address.

Step 1

Visit the token bridge interface at https://token.kambria.io/swap.

At this point, if you have not already created an account, you will have to create one using the form on the page. If you have created an account, please sign in.

Note: This tutorial will cover swapping your KAT using the MetaMask Wallet; however, you can use any wallet to perform the swap. If you are going to use your own wallet for this process, you can skip to step four.

Step 2

Unlock your MetaMask or hardware wallet, and press the “Connect” button.

Step 3

Select the wallet where your KAT is being stored. If connected correctly, your wallet information will populate in the top-left corner of your screen, including your KAT balance.

Step 4

If you have not already created a Binance address to store your BEP2 KAT, please refer to this tutorial. Once you have created a Binance address, you are ready to complete step 4.

Copy your BNB address from your Binance Wallet. When you copy your address, be sure to copy the entire address.

example BNB address

Note: ONLY use a BNB address in which you have access to either the passphrase, keystore file, or private key for. This means you CANNOT use a BNB address from any centralized exchange. Token sent to the wrong address, or addresses from centralized exchanges (such as the centralized exchange Binance.com), will be lost forever! If you do not have an BNB wallet in which you fully control, refer to our Binance Wallet Creation Tutorial.

Step 5

Paste your BNB public wallet address into the text box. At this point, you are going to want to double-check that you pasted the correct address into the text box in its entirety. Proceed back to the location you copied your BNB address and verify that the first and last four characters (after “bnb”) match the first and last four characters of your pasted address (compare the example from the photos above and below). If yours is correct, click “Confirm.”

Step 6

After you press “Confirm,” if done correctly, your “Ethereum Deposit Address” will populate in the next section. Note: You must swap a minimum of 1000 KAT. If you send less than 1000 KAT, or send your KAT to the wrong address, your KAT will be lost forever.

This is the point where if you are using a wallet option other than what has been provided to you by Kambria, you will have to copy the Ethereum address so that you can manually swap your KAT. Just simply copy the address in its entirety by double clicking the address and right-clicking the highlighted letters. Double check to ensure that you correctly highlighted the entire address. The entire address is not displayed, so you must scroll over using your mouse to see the last characters in your Ethereum Deposit Address. See the video tutorial for a visual explanation of this.

Otherwise, if you are using MetaMask or another wallet that connects to our interface (see Step 2), just click the “Deposit” button, and your wallet will automatically generate a transaction, which you must confirm. Review the details of the transaction, and if everything looks correct, press “Confirm” on your wallet.

That’s it! You are done. After you click confirm, the token bridge will recognize the transaction and the progress bar will become active. The process takes just a few minutes, and when it is complete, you will receive details about the transaction at the bottom of your screen. The supplied video tutorial will provide you with a visual overview of the entire process, which only takes about ten minutes. If you need assistance, reach out to one of our staff, and we’d be happy to help you.

Thank you for reading! We hope this was educational and will help you on your journey to trading on Binance DEX. We look forward to bringing you additional great news such as this in future updates. #DreamItMakeIt #BUIDL #Kambria
