Kambria has successfully organized the Mine Clearing Robot DAO (MCRD) - Info Seminar Session on November 4th, 2022. Aside from sharing more information about this initiative and our partnership invitations, Kambria would like to take this opportunity to raise public awareness about mine action through heartfelt sharing between supporters about their own stories. The goal of utilizing technological advancement especially robotics technology in mine detection and clearance activities is to replace traditional manual methods in order to reduce risks and damage to humans and animals. Kambria hopes for a good initiative and attempts to contribute to the journey of ending the landmine scourge once and for all. We are really thankful for all the people that we are accompanying on this meaningful journey!

Market size and growth

We would like to share some highlighted financial information for your reference:

- The pet care robots market generated 1.4 billion USD in 2021.

- The global recycled ocean plastics market size was valued at 1.5 billion USD in 2021 and are quickly expanding.

- Mine clearance robot market value was more than 4 billion USD in 2019

- And the global underwater exploration robots market size is 3.7 billion USD in 2021, and is projected to touch 8 billion USD by 2027.

DAO financial framework

With reference to the cost structure of tech companies especially robotics companies, we define the DAO financial framework as below:

The investment or expense budget will be used:

- 65% for R&D and Production or Service

- 20% for Sales and Marketing 

- 15% for Operations 

Revenues from solution sales, services and licensing will be allocated:

- 75% for expense budget

- 25% of revenues will be shared to DAO fund contributors

DAO members’ benefits

As per Kambria DAOs model, fund contributors will purchase DAO LP tokens to become DAO members:

- All DAO LP token holders can earn revenue sharing in commercialization phase 

- Members holding 10.000 LP tokens gain access to the solution codebase

- Members with at least 5% LP tokens will join the DAO Council to vote for DAO decisions.

If you are experienced in doing Pet Care, Ocean Cleanup, Mine Clearing & Underwater Conservation services, and interested in collaborating with these DAOs as Service Partners, we would love to have your participation in solution development phase to suggest your needs and test the solution. 

Then in the commercialization phase, we can collaborate to implement the services using these solutions.

Some potential collaborations we would like to propose such as:

  • Collaborate in raising public awareness: We can cross-share movements among our communities. We can also co-organize activities to raise awareness such as donation campaigns, action days…
  • Or Community Partner can be a hub of the DAOs: Partner will lead the DAO community in your Hub to participate in the solution commercialization and get paid for the contribution of your hub.
