Outcomes, Data & Sustainability

1. What’s the expected outcome of the program?

Our vision is to empower global citizens to collaboratively manage and deliver impactful projects using DAO tools. Through DEP 2025, participants will gain firsthand experience in decentralized coordination, community governance, and crypto-powered transparency.

The expected outcomes are:

  • Building practical skills in DAO tools and decentralized decision-making.
  • Demonstrating how DAOs can effectively address real-world challenges.
  • Creating a foundation for sustainable, community-driven initiatives.

Together, we aim to set a precedent for how DAOs can be applied to solve pressing global issues.

2. Will it lead to ongoing DAO initiatives, new collaborations, or something else?

In our first cohort, each DAO focused on simple, tangible impact goals—for example, planting 1,000 trees or cooking 1,000 meals. These initiatives helped us validate the DAO experimentation framework.

Looking ahead, future cohorts will center on real social impact innovation projects designed with sustainable models. This will not only create measurable impact but also open opportunities for ongoing initiatives, cross-community collaborations, and entrepreneurial support.

If you have any initiative in mind, please reach out to us - we’d love to hear your ideas. Updates will be shared through our official channels, so stay tuned.

3. How is our data going to be used by Kambria?

Your trust is very important to us.

Here is the DEP Privacy Notice that explains how your data is handled when you participate in the DAO Experimentation Program (DEP). For our full Privacy Policy, please refer to: Kambria Privacy Policy.

4. How can Kambria DAO support entrepreneurs in integrating blockchain and decentralized solutions into real-world businesses, particularly in sectors like beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer products?

  • Kambria DAO can provide a decentralized platform where entrepreneurs:
  • Pilot blockchain-integrated solutions in their sectors.
  • Engage early adopters and communities through DAO participation.
  • Co-create and refine models with transparency and shared ownership.
  • Build pathways to scale solutions beyond DEP into long-term businesses.

This framework ensures entrepreneurs in consumer-focused industries can leverage blockchain not only for funding and governance, but also for community-driven innovation and adoption.

For a deeper understanding, we invite you to read these two articles on our website:

5. What is the recommended sustainability and scalability after this project for our communities we are working?

DEP emphasizes that sustainability and scalability should come from:

  • Community Ownership: projects are designed to be community-led so they can continue even after the program ends.
  • DAO Infrastructure: knowledge, proposals, and governance tools remain available for reuse and adaptation by future cohorts or local groups.
  • Partnership Building: DAOs are encouraged to build local and global partnerships (with NGOs, enterprises, schools, or local authorities) to ensure continuity.
  • Scalability Path: start small in local pilots, then adapt and replicate in other regions through the network of DAOs.

Therefore, our recommended approach is to design initiatives that communities can own, replicate, and scale, supported by DAO governance and ongoing partnerships.

6. Is Kambria registered as a NGO or a B-Corp?

Kambria is not registered as an NGO or a B-Corp.

We are a technology company that develops open innovation platforms and DAO infrastructures. The DEP (DAO Experimentation Program) is one of its community-driven initiatives, but Kambria itself is not legally structured as a non-profit NGO or as a certified B-Corp.

7. How can members continue to contribute after the execution phase ends, especially individuals who want to build stronger skills in communication, project ownership, and long-term participation?

After the execution phase, there will still be later stages where you can continue contributing, learning, and preparing for future cohorts.

We aim to strengthen the communication by continuing sharing reflections, capturing teammates’ stories, or supporting the narrative work of the Reflection DAO. Every interview, insight, or piece of documentation helps you grow skills in deep listening, clear expression, and storytelling.

8. When is the next DEP cohort, and will the next cohort still be on the same DAOs?

Thank you for your interest in the next cohort. The format and timeline for DEP 2 will be announced soon, and we warmly invite you to join our upcoming Info Session for full details. While DEP II will continue the same spirit and learning objectives as DEP 1, it will also introduce some expanded directions and improvements.

The Info Session for Cohort 2 will be held together with the Cohort 1 Summary Session, tentatively scheduled for early February. Please follow Kambria’s social media channels for updates. Toward the end of this cohort, we will also provide DEP 1 members with a dedicated briefing so you can prepare in advance.

9. What is Kambria all about and Kambria funding?

What is Kambria all about?

Kambria is an open innovation ecosystem that empowers communities to co-create technology and social-impact initiatives. Instead of building projects in a traditional top-down way, Kambria enables collaborative development through DAOs — where community members, partners, and contributors work together to design and implement meaningful impact projects.

How does Kambria funding work?

Kambria does not provide a fixed “seed funding” amount to every DAO. Instead, funding is structured based on the objectives of each cohort:

  • Cohort 1: Focuses on achieving a clear social-impact goal. Funding supports activities directly related to that mission.
  • Cohort 2: Expands this by adding a sustainability goal — encouraging DAOs to explore partnerships, community involvement, and models that help activities continue beyond the pilot.
  • Cohort 3: Will introduce an automated revenue-sharing mechanism, enabling DAOs to generate and distribute value transparently and community-driven.

The long-term vision is a sustainable open innovation ecosystem where DAOs can operate independently, collaborate across the Kambria network, and sustain themselves through value creation, partnerships, and token-based governance.

Instead of individuals applying for funding, each DAO works as a team to design proposals aligned with cohort goals, and resources are allocated to support these collaborative missions.
