The DAO Experimentation Program (DEP) is an experimental initiative facilitated by Kambria International. By participating in DEP, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimers:

1. Regulatory Context

  • DEP operates globally with participants from many countries.
  • Kambria does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
  • Each participant must ensure their participation complies with the laws and regulations of their own jurisdiction, especially those relating to digital assets, payments, and data protection.
  • Kambria does not guarantee that DEP activities are compliant in every country — participants should seek local guidance if needed.

2. Nature of DEP

  • Experimental Program: DEP is a short-term experimentation with DAOs for social impact projects. It is not an investment program, and DAO tokens are not offered as securities or financial products.
  • Funding: DAO funds are limited to the amounts communicated (e.g., $3,000 per DAO). There is no guarantee of ongoing funding beyond the program’s scope.
  • No Financial Advice: Nothing in DEP materials or communications should be considered financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Kambria’s Role: Kambria International acts as a facilitator — providing tools, coordination, and documentation. Kambria does not directly manage project execution or supplier relationships.
  • DAO Members: Each DAO group is self-governed. DAO members are responsible for submitting proposals, executing approved projects, reporting outcomes, and ensuring compliance with relevant local laws.
  • Suppliers: Any agreements or transactions with suppliers are managed directly by DAO members. Kambria and the DAOs are not parties to these contracts.

4. Data and Privacy

  • DEP participation involves collecting personal data (applications, proposals, reports).
  • This data is processed under Kambria’s Privacy Policy and the DEP Privacy Notice.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring that any content they submit (stories, photos, videos) complies with local laws and respects the rights of third parties.

5. Limitation of Liability

Kambria International and its team members are not liable for:

  • Losses arising from DAO member activities, supplier relationships, or third-party tools (e.g., MetaMask, Discord).
  • Any participant’s non-compliance with local laws or regulations.
  • Risks inherent in blockchain use (wallet loss, private key mismanagement, transaction errors).

6. Updates

This Disclaimer may be updated as needed to reflect regulatory developments or adjustments to the DEP framework. Updates will be communicated through DEP Docs.
