Skills, Learning & Participation

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 49 views

1. What skills or knowledge should I focus on developing to make the most of this DAO program?

You should focus on building skills in project coordination, volunteer engagement, basic financial management, and communication/storytelling. These will help you carry out your DAO project smoothly, work effectively with your team, and share the impact of your work.

2. How is the DAO working to ensure diverse and inclusive participation, especially from underrepresented communities?

Kambria ensures inclusive participation by recruiting globally, lowering technical barriers (minimal onboarding), providing peer buddy systems and mentors, and using transparent DAO governance.

To strengthen diversity further, additional measures like targeted outreach, flexible scheduling, and connectivity assistance would help reach underrepresented communities more effectively.

3. How does group member participation vs partner member/local participation count?

  • DAO group members are official DAO participants whose actions count toward governance metrics like voting, proposal submission, and execution reporting.
  • Partner or local members support project implementation (e.g., volunteers, local partners) - their activities count toward project impact results, not DAO governance.
  • DAO members handle coordination; partners enable on-the-ground execution.

4. Will there be ongoing mentoring or structured support available for DAO members after the onboarding phase?

Yes. DAO-Facilitators will continue to provide online consultation and guidance whenever needed. Local delivery partners may also assist based on their availability and location. Additionally, there will be an Execution Sync Meeting on November 28 to provide further support and enable cross-sharing of lessons learned across all DAOs.
