  • Why do we choose to plant sapling rather than seed?
A seedling is a very young tree just beginning to grow from a seed, characterized by a slender stem and the presence of cotyledons or seed leaves. A sapling is an older, more developed stage of a young tree, larger and more established than a seedling, and has developed adult leaves.
