DAO: Reflection DAO – Group D (10 members, $750 allocation, target: 50 reflections)

 

1. DAO Alignment

  • Goal: Collect and curate 50 reflections through story circles and digital submissions, then compile them into a Reflection Zine.
  • Relevance: This fulfills Group D’s full target (50 reflections) and contributes to Reflection DAO’s collective goal of 100 reflections.
  • Tone & Spirit: Encourages learning, diversity of voices, and intergenerational knowledge sharing.

Decentralized Participation: Members are based in Kenya, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

3. Feasible & Responsible Plan (Aligned with DEP Timeline)

Phase 1: Research & Preparation (Sep 22 – Oct 9)

  • Create reflection template and guidelines.
  • Recruit participants for story circles.
  • Prepare zine layout draft.

Phase 2: Proposal Submission & Review (Oct 10 – Oct 25)

  • Oct 10: Submit proposal on XDAO.
  • Oct 11–24: Qualification & DAO voting.
  • Oct 25: Approval → $525 (70%) released.

Phase 3: Execution (Oct 26 – Nov 30)

  • Week 1: Facilitate 2 online reflection sessions (Discord).
  • Week 2: Hold 2 offline story circles in Nairobi.
  • Week 3: Host 1 online cross-DAO reflection session.
  • Week 4: Collect final reflections from DAO members (written/audio).
  • Week 5: Compile, edit, and design zine (20–30 pages).
  • Documentation: transcripts, photos (with consent), reflection notes.

Phase 4: Reporting (Dec 1 – Dec 5)

  • Dec 1: Submit Proposal Summary Report (50 reflections + zine draft).
  • Dec 5: Verification complete → $225 (30%) released.
