Every Number Tells a Story: The Path to DEP Kickoff

Looking back, our journey has been remarkable. From 182 registrants at the very beginning, 121 advanced to Qualification, then 91 to Verification, and now 61 dedicated members have arrived at the Kickoff stage. These are not just statistics. They are proof that our community is growing with energy, resilience, and a shared vision for impact.

The timeline highlighted the program’s current position in Phase 3: Onboarding & DAO Setup. With Preparation, Recruitment, and Selection already completed, the next milestone will be the core of the journey: the Execution phase, where ideas begin to take shape through real-world action.

Kickoff Event Recap

On September 19th, Kambria brought together DAO Members from across the globe for the DEP 2025 Kickoff Event. This moment marked the start of the Onboarding & DAO Setup Phase, where each DAO begins shaping proposals, aligning roles, and experimenting with collaboration in action.

The event opened with an inspiring overview from Ms. Liên Cao of the Kambria Core Team, setting the tone with tools, workflows, and a clear roadmap ahead.
From there, DAO Facilitators guided Members through Q&A exchanges and dedicated DAO sessions, sharing how each team - Grow Together, Connect, Nourish, and Reflection - would organize, define goals, and take first steps.
Equally powerful were the voices of DAO Members themselves, who shared personal motivations: from reforestation and food security, to bridging generations and capturing reflections. These stories gave life to the vision of DEP - showing how decentralized collaboration can spark real-world impact.

The Kickoff was more than an event; it was a reminder that we are co-creating something bigger together - where technology meets community, and action is fueled by shared purpose.
