How to Join CED

CED registration is open on an ongoing basis, so you can join whenever you're ready to start learning, sharing knowledge, or doing both. Getting started is simple. Complete the CED Registration Form, set up your account, complete the required verification steps, and begin exploring or hosting Sessions.

Registration Process

Step	What Happens
1. Complete the CED Registration Form	Tell us about yourself, choose your CED role, and share the Subjects you are interested in learning or sharing.
2. CED Team Follow-Up	The CED Team may follow up with onboarding guidance, technical support, or relevant Session suggestions based on your interests and feedback.
3. Create Your CED Account	Install the CED mobile app or access the web platform and complete your account setup.
4. Complete Verification	Complete identity verification and, for Guides, submit the required information for expertise verification.
5. Start Participating	Browse and book Sessions as an Explorer or begin creating and hosting Sessions as a Guide.

After registration, the CED Team can support you during onboarding, assist with technical issues, and use your interests and feedback to suggest relevant Subjects or Sessions where appropriate.

As part of the current onboarding opportunity, up to 50 newly registered participants may receive gift codes for two free trial sessions per month, allowing them to experience CED before purchasing a subscription. Gift codes are subject to availability.

What You’ll Need

Getting started with CED does not require any specialized equipment or technical background. The basic requirements depend on whether you join as an Explorer, a Guide, or both.

For Explorers

To register and participate in Sessions, you will need:

A valid email address for registration, account communication, and Session-related notifications.
A mobile phone, tablet, or computer with internet access to create your account and join live online Sessions.
A few minutes to complete the CED Registration Form, including information about the Subjects or types of knowledge you are interested in exploring.
Basic identification information to complete identity verification during onboarding.

Sharing your learning interests in the registration form also helps the CED Team understand what you are looking for and, where appropriate, suggest relevant Subjects or Sessions.

For Guides

Guides need the same basic requirements as Explorers, together with information that allows the CED Team to review their expertise.

Please prepare:

Certificates, degrees, professional qualifications, or other relevant supporting information related to the Subjects you would like to share.
Basic information about your experience and expertise, including the areas where you can provide useful knowledge or guidance to Explorers.
The Subjects or Session topics you would like to offer, so your expertise can be reviewed and presented appropriately within CED.

All CED members complete identity verification during onboarding, while Guides also complete expertise verification before hosting Sessions. These steps help maintain a trusted environment and give Explorers clearer information about the people they choose to learn from.
