Program Timeline

Welcome to the timeline of DEP 2 - a 10.5-month journey that guides participants and partners from preparation to execution, regeneration experiments, and transition into DEP 3.

Each phase is intentionally designed to build community readiness, strengthen decentralized collaboration skills, and support DAOs in achieving both impact and regeneration goals.

Overview: 10.5 Months

• Phase 1 - Preparation: 2.5 months

• Phase 2 - Call for Applications & Partners: 3 months

• Phase 3 - Onboarding: 1.5 months

• Phase 4 - Execution: 2.5 months

• Phase 5 - DEP 2 Summary + DEP 3 Info Session: 1 month

Phase 1 - Preparation

Duration: 2.5 months (mid-October → December)

During this phase, Kambria defines the foundation that Cohort 2 will build upon.

Key Activities:

• Finalize the 4 DAO missions, impact goals, and regeneration targets

• Design regeneration frameworks and sustainability guidelines

• Prepare DAO onboarding materials and proposal templates

• Set up DAO workspaces (Discord, Drives, tracking sheets)

• Publish the DEP 2 documentation site

• Begin early outreach to potential community partners

This phase ensures DAOs are structurally ready before participants join.

Phase 2 - Call for Applications & Partners

Duration: 3 months (January → March)

This phase opens DEP 2 to the global community.

Key Activities:

• Open public call for participants, institutions, and partners

• Host the Info Session

• Conduct recruitment outreach across regions and networks

• Review applications and confirm participant selection

• Publish welcome packs and role descriptions

• Strengthen partnerships that support impact + regeneration models

By the end of this phase, all DAO members and collaborating partners are confirmed.

Phase 3 - Onboarding

Duration: 1.5 months (April → mid-May)

DAO members learn tools, align expectations, and begin co-creating.

Key Activities:

• Set up wallets and access to DAO tools

• Orientation sessions: goals, regeneration guidelines, and governance flow

• DAO workspace formation and communication setup

• Onboarding proposals and test voting flow

• Proposal drafting sessions

• Alignment on each DAO’s impact plan and regeneration approach

This phase ensures all participants are prepared for decentralized collaboration.

Phase 4 - Execution

Duration: 2.5 months (mid-May → July)

The core of DEP 2 - participants create impact and prototype regeneration models.

Key Activities:

• Submission and voting of DAO proposals

• Execution of approved actions

• Implementation of fundraising, revenue, or sponsorship trials

• Weekly DAO syncs to share progress and challenges

• Documentation and storytelling

• Tokenomics experiments with the KAT Tokenomics DAO

By the end of this phase, DAOs will have delivered their impact goals and undergone their regeneration experiments.

Phase 5 - DEP 2 Summary + DEP 3 Info Session (2-in-1)

Duration: 1 month (August)

This final phase closes DEP 2 and opens the door to the next cohort.

Key Activities:

• DAO final reports and consolidated summaries

• Public showcase of results, learnings, and regeneration highlights

• Reflection and storytelling from across DAOs

• Announcement of DEP 3 structure and new goals

• DEP 3 Info Session for interested participants and partners

DEP 2 formally concludes with shared learnings that shape the design of Cohort 3.
