Partner Collaboration Timeline

This page explains how partners - including Community Partners, Knowledge & Expertise Partners, Collaboration Partners, Regeneration Partners, and Sponsors - collaborate with DEP Cohort 2 across the program’s 10.5-month timeline.

The goal is to offer clarity, predictability, and simple coordination, making it easy for organizations to engage meaningfully at the right times.

This timeline applies to all partners, with additional touchpoints for Sponsors and Regeneration Partners where relevant.

1. Overview

Partnership in DEP follows the rhythm of the program’s phases.

Partners are involved through:

  • Alignment conversations

  • Co-hosted activities

  • Community engagement

  • Providing resources or expertise

  • Supporting DAO impact & regeneration goals

  • Participating in highlight events

  • Receiving documentation & recognition

The timeline below outlines recommended collaboration points.

Actual engagement may be customized based on each partner’s availability and contribution.

2. Collaboration Timeline (Aligned with DEP 2 Program Phases)

Phase 1 - Preparation (Mid-Oct → Dec)

Partner Role: Introduction & Exploration

What happens:

  • Kambria prepares DEP 2 materials, DAO themes, and partner kits.

  • Partner Interest Form opens.

  • Optional preliminary outreach to prospective partners.

Partner involvement:

  • Submit Partner Interest Form

  • Have an initial discovery call (optional)

  • Explore potential collaboration formats

  • Provide early input if relevant (for universities, communities, sponsors)

Deliverables (optional):

  • Partnership intent confirmation

  • Early commitment for co-hosted activities (case-by-case)

This phase sets the foundation but does not require heavy involvement.

Phase 2 - Call for Applications & Partners (Jan → Mar)

Partner Role: High Engagement Opportunity

What happens:

  • DEP opens applications for DAO participants.

  • Kambria publicly communicates about partnerships and collaboration opportunities.

Partner involvement:

  • Share DEP application announcements within your networks

  • Promote opportunities to students, members, community groups

  • Confirm partnership type (Community / Knowledge / Collaboration / Sponsor)

  • Provide preliminary resources (if applicable)

Additional for Sponsors:

  • Sponsorship tier alignment

  • Logo and branding exchange

  • Initial acknowledgment on Our Collaboration Network page (if confirmed early)

This is the phase where partner outreach creates the largest impact on cohort recruitment and ecosystem diversity.

Phase 3 - Onboarding (Apr → Mid-May)

Partner Role: Alignment & Activation

What happens:

  • DEP participants are onboarded.

  • DAOs finalize Master Plans & Working Groups.

  • Collaboration needs become clearer.

Partner involvement:

  • Alignment call with relevant DAO (optional, facilitated by Kambria)

  • Confirmation of activities (workshops, sessions, collaborations)

  • Provide materials, schedule availability, or preliminary content

  • Join partner communication channel (if applicable)

Additional for Sponsors:

  • Confirmation of tier

  • Publish sponsor placement on Our Collaboration Network page

  • Mention in an Update & Showcase post (for Program/Impact Sponsors)

By the end of this phase, partner contributions for the Execution Phase are clearly defined.

Phase 4 - Execution (Mid-May → Jul)

Partner Role: Main Contribution Phase

This is where most partner engagements take place.

Partner involvement may include:

A. Community Partners

  • Sharing DAO updates

  • Encouraging member participation in sessions/events

  • Supporting Exchange DAO 1–1 session recruitment

  • Promoting DAO creative or green activities

B. Knowledge & Expertise Partners

  • Running workshops or talks

  • Reviewing outputs

  • Providing training or creative/technical guidance

C. Collaboration Partners

  • Co-hosting workshops

  • Supporting themed activities

  • Helping execute regeneration initiatives

D. Regeneration Partners

  • Supporting green, cultural, or community activities

  • Providing materials, space, or services

E. Sponsors

  • Sponsorship prominently recognized in:

    • Collaboration Network page

    • Update & Showcase highlights

  • Optional co-designed micro-activities (Tier 3 Impact Sponsors)

Documentation:

Partners receive photos, materials, or session summaries after relevant activities (when applicable).

This is the most active phase for partner collaboration.

Phase 5 - Summary & DEP 3 Info Session (Aug)

Partner Role: Reflection & Recognition

What happens:

  • DAOs compile final reports.

  • Kambria hosts Summary Event.

  • DEP 2 Summary Report is prepared.

  • DEP 3 preliminary info is shared.

Partner involvement:

  • Attend the Summary Event (virtual attendance welcome)

  • View DAO outputs and showcases

  • Be publicly recognized (depending on partnership level)

  • Receive certificates

  • Review impact documentation provided by Kambria

Recognition delivered:

  • Partner Certificate

  • Sponsor Certificate (for Sponsors)

  • Logo placement in DEP 2 Summary Report

  • Verbal acknowledgment for relevant tiers

  • Highlight stories for Impact Sponsors

This phase closes the collaboration cycle and celebrates contributions.

3. Collaboration Rhythm (Across All Partners)

To keep the partnership lightweight and effective, the following rhythm is recommended:

Monthly

  • Receive DEP updates (optional)

  • Light communication touchpoint with Kambria (as needed)

  • Share relevant updates within your community (optional)

Per Activity

  • Confirm date/time

  • Receive partner kit

  • Engage in the planned session/workshop/event

  • Review and approve partner documentation or mention

End of Cohort

  • Receive certificates

  • Receive summary materials

  • Optionally discuss continued collaboration for DEP 3

4. Communication Channels

Partners will be connected through:

  • Email thread with Kambria Core Team

  • Optional Partner Circle (WhatsApp / Discord for certain groups)

  • DEP Update emails (periodic)

  • Event invitations via calendar/email

  • Sponsor-specific communication for branding and media assets

DAO-specific communication happens on a case-by-case basis, facilitated by the Kambria Core Team.

5. Recognition Pathway (Summary for All Partner Types)

Depending on partnership type and contribution scale, partners may receive:

✔ Co-creation acknowledgment (for Collaboration Partners)

✔ Acknowledgment at the Summary Event (for Program & Impact Sponsors)
