Call for Theme Sponsors (CED) – Invitation

Collaboration Timeline (CED)

Estimated reading: 4 minutes 57 views

This page is CED's specific timeline for Theme Sponsors of its two themed programs in Cohort 3 — Theme A, Community Self-Governance Skills, and Theme B, Recycled Crafts. It follows the common four-phase shape described in the Partner Collaboration Timeline, set against the DEP 3 Program Timeline. Both programs follow the same phases; the only difference is that Theme B depends on reaching its funding threshold.

The Call for Theme Sponsors closes before DEP 3 opens its call for participants, so participants know which programs — and which DAO teams — they can join. Dates may shift as the cohort runs; CED keeps you informed.

The four phases

Phase When What happens CED You

3 · Preparation & delivery Mid-February to mid-August 2027 (DEP 3 onboarding and execution) Onboarding (mid-February to mid-April): the curriculum is finalized, Guides are readied, and learners are recruited. Execution (mid-April to mid-August): the sessions run Finalizes the curriculum with you; readies Guides; recruits and matches learners; runs and tracks the sessions; sends a mid-program progress note Give input when the curriculum is finalized; anyone from your organization who wants to guide applies through CED's standard Guide verification during onboarding
4 · Impact & renewal Mid-August to September 2027 (DEP 3 summary & showcase), plus a follow-up The results are reported and shared, the two programs compared, and the next program discussed Sends the end-of-program impact report, participant stories, and a short comparison of the two programs; presents at the DEP 3 showcase; follows up on learners' next steps about three months after they complete the core track Review the results with CED and decide whether to continue; a Lead Sponsor has priority to continue as Lead Sponsor of the next program in its theme

What gates the sessions

Sessions start once a program is funded, its curriculum and Guides are ready, and its learners are recruited. Settling funding by the end of December lets DEP 3 open its call for participants in January knowing which programs run, and gives the full onboarding window to finalize the curriculum with you and recruit the right learners. Committing early in the Call gives the most time to shape the program together.

Reporting cadence

  • Mid-program progress note — around the middle of the execution phase.
  • End-of-program impact report — at the close of the program, with two or three participant stories shared with consent, and a short comparison of the two programs where both run.
  • Next-steps follow-up — about three months after learners complete the core track, showing how many took an organic next step.

If a partnership needs to be paused or ended, this follows the Partner Alignment & Conclusion Policy.
