DAO Operations Excellence

Operations Excellence is one of the two pillars of Cohort 3. Where the Concept Note explains why it matters, this section explains how it works in practice — the real infrastructure a DEP 3 DAO runs its money and its records on.

It has two parts, which fit together:

• The Kambria DAOs Framework (KDF) — the on-chain engine that receives value, categorises it, splits it by a rule the DAO sets in advance, and pays it out — transparently and automatically, with no spreadsheet arithmetic.
• The DAO Workbook — one consolidated spreadsheet per DAO that tracks everything off-chain: members, contributions, plans, OKRs, recognition. Where money is concerned, the Workbook reads from KDF rather than re-recording it.

Put simply: KDF is the source of truth for value; the Workbook is how a DAO plans and keeps track of everything around it. This page-set covers KDF; the DAO Workbook is documented in the next part.

This is the framework's first live cohort. Kambria runs it hands-on — with close support and manual checks alongside the automation — until it has earned trust. If something looks off, raising it early is exactly how the cohort helps the framework mature.
