Governance & Records: Voting Tracking and Inactivity & Misconduct

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 13 views

Two tabs keep the DAO's governance decisions and its membership issues on the record.

Voting Tracking

Every decision the DAO makes on XDAO is logged here, latest at the top: the Master Plan & Lane Proposals vote at the start of Execution, each operating-cost release (a DAO vote sending funds to the DAO Lead or treasurer), and any GT changes — adding or removing a member, and the +1 GT active members earn each phase. Each row carries the voting's title, type, creator, dates, a link, its status, and — for a release — the budget line and the on-chain transaction. Contributor pay-per-task is not an XDAO voting and is not logged here — it settles through the Kambria DAOs Framework. This tab gives the DAO one auditable list of the decisions it voted on.

Inactivity & Misconduct

When a member goes persistently quiet, or a serious issue arises, it's worked through here — following the termination process on the Consent page: a pair, DAO Lead, or DAO Facilitator flags it; there's a private check-in; the member has a one-week window to re-engage; and only if nothing changes does it go to a DAO vote. Each row records the type, who flagged it, the key dates, the discussion and evidence links, the removal-vote link if it gets that far, and the outcome (re-engaged, removed, or ongoing). One rule sits above the table: work already verified is still paid, even if a member is removed — removal affects future participation and recognition, not payment already earned.
