The Kambria DAOs Framework (KDF)

Transparency & Reconciliation

Estimated reading: 1 minute 5 views

The whole point of running money through the framework is that nobody has to trust a spreadsheet. Everything the framework does is recorded and readable.

What you can see:

  • a Revenue Ledger — every payment received, filterable by cycle, type, or transaction,
  • a Payout Ledger — every payout made, filterable by cycle or recipient,
  • a DAO dashboard — total revenue (this cycle and all-time), payouts executed, and any pending cycles.

Because the records are on-chain, they can also be checked independently on Polygonscan and in XDAO, against the transaction hashes the framework logs.

Reconciling with the Workbook. The DAO Workbook's cashbook mirrors these on-chain records — it reads from the framework rather than re-recording the money. The framework is the source of truth for what was received and paid; the Workbook is where the DAO keeps the wider picture around it. The next part of this section covers the Workbook.
