How the Workbook and the Framework Fit Together

The Workbook and the Kambria DAOs Framework do different jobs, and keeping them distinct is what keeps a DAO honest.

• The framework is the money truth. What was received, how it split, what was paid — on-chain, verifiable, and final.
• The Workbook is everything around it. Who's in the DAO, how the lanes are owned, what the OKRs are, what got done, what's owed, and who earned recognition.
• They meet at the Cashbook. The Cashbook mirrors the framework's records rather than re-recording the money, and its reconciliation ties the DAO's accepted contributions back to what was actually paid.
• The Budget Plan is the DAO's intent for the seed; the Cashbook is the actual — read together, they show plan versus spend.

Once a month, the picture comes together: the framework settles what's owed for the cohort's qualified tasks, the Cashbook reflects it, and the KAT tabs settle recognition for everything that wasn't a paid task. The framework shows what was paid; the Workbook tells the rest of the story.
