Mission

The Exchange DAO facilitates 500 meaningful real-time 1–1 online learning and connection sessions through the Capacity Exchange (CED) platform.

These sessions span a broad spectrum of domains including skills, knowledge, communication, culture, arts, wellbeing, academic support, professional sharing, digital tools, personal insights, and more.

The DAO explores how decentralized peer-to-peer exchange can create social impact, while testing lightweight regeneration approaches such as value-based sessions, institutional partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.

Key Details

What Counts as a Session?

A session is any meaningful real-time 1–1 online exchange conducted through the CED platform.

Session types may include:

• Peer skill exchange (languages, digital tools, communication, study help)

• Knowledge sharing (career insights, productivity, personal growth)

• Experience-based exchange (life stories, culture, community wisdom)

• Coaching-style or reflective listening sessions

• Creative or thematic 1–1 explorations (art, music, wellbeing)

• Guided micro-practices or personal development sessions

Each session must be:

1. Hosted and recorded (log-based) through the CED platform

2. Documented in the DAO’s session tracker (reflection + evidence)

Guide & Explorer Participation Model

CED allows every member to play both roles:

• Guide → Shares expertise, skill, or experience

• Explorer → Seeks learning, support, or insight

In DEP 2, DAO members are invited to:

• Volunteer as Guide for at least 2 sessions, and

• Participate as Explorer for at least 2 sessions

This ensures balanced participation and diverse learning exposure.

Suggested KAT Rewards (Symbolic)

DAOs may adjust values via governance proposals.

Regeneration Strategies (Examples)

The Exchange DAO will experiment with sustainable models for 1–1 exchange, such as:

1. Value-Based Sessions

• Low-cost or donation-based 1–1 sessions on specialized topics

• “Pay what you can” options for community access

• Optional contributions for high-quality or in-demand Guides

2. Membership / Subscription Models

• Monthly membership for unlimited exchanges

• Domain-based learning tracks (language, career, wellbeing)

• Student, youth, or family plans

3. Institutional Partnerships

Collaborations with:

• Universities & student organizations

• NGOs focused on youth development, education, wellbeing

• Companies interested in employee wellness or micro-learning

Partners may sponsor:

• Session blocks

• Learning circles

• Exchange initiatives

4. Sponsored Exchange Campaigns

• “Global Skill Exchange Week”

• “100 Meaningful Exchanges”

• Corporate-sponsored wellbeing sessions

• Cross-cultural or language exchange initiatives

What Success Looks Like

• 500+ meaningful 1–1 online sessions completed and verified

• Active network of multi-domain Guides & Explorers

• ≥ $3,000 regenerated through exchange-based activities

• Diverse stories, learning reflections, and personal growth moments

• Strong documentation archive demonstrating impact

• A Cohort 2 Exchange DAO Impact Report with data, quotes, and case studies
