Phase 3&4 – Expertise Partner’s Activities

Estimated reading: 3 minutes 24 views

Overview: Two Streams of Involvement

STREAM 1 – DAO Mentorship (Compulsory)

Stream 1 is program-integrated, DAO-specific, and mandatory.

Purpose: Support DEP 2 proposal development directly within the program.

Scope: Focused strictly on DEP 2 DAOs and their proposal drafting process.

Commitment:

Partners assign one representative to

  • Join at least one allocated DAO
  • Act as a mentor during the drafting period
  • Provide structured, domain-aligned feedback to:
    • Strengthen proposal clarity
    • Improve feasibility and sustainability
    • Support tokenomics or operational design (if relevant)

Collaboration

Mentors work closely with:

  • DAO Facilitators (DFs)
  • Other mentors within the DAO
  • DAO members drafting proposals

Nature of Contribution

  • Advisory role (mentors provide guidance; final decisions remain with the DAO)
  • Active engagement throughout drafting
  • Focused on improving proposal quality within the DEP framework

STREAM 2 – External Personal Consultation via CED, a platform backed by Kambria (Optional, Highly Recommended)

Stream 2 is ecosystem-wide, flexible, branding-enhancing, and optional.

Purpose: Enable broader knowledge-sharing beyond DEP 2 proposal drafting.

Scope: Open-topic consultations outside the formal DEP 2 proposal process.

Commitment:

Partners may choose to:

  • Offer personal consultation sessions (20–40 minutes each)

  • Open at least 2 available booking slots per week on CED for Explorers to register
Disclaimer: Partners are not required to conduct 2 sessions per week. The commitment is to make the time slots available; sessions will only take place if booked by Explorers.

  • Set topics aligned with their expertise and strengths

Members from any DAO can book these sessions for:

  • Career advice
  • Industry insights
  • Technical or operational guidance
  • Broader strategic conversations

Why do we use the CED Platform?

CED provides a structured, professional consultation system that:

  • Professionalizes interactions: organized booking, clear time boundaries, and streamlined communication
  • Reduces coordination friction: no manual scheduling or back-and-forth logistics
  • Increases partner visibility: public mentor profiles and cross-DAO discoverability
  • Expands ecosystem reach: enables engagement beyond assigned DAOs and supports broader network growth

Additional benefits to Partners joining Stream 2

  • Strengthen personal brand within the Kambria ecosystem
  • Increase visibility and endorsement across multiple DAOs
  • Exposed to talented pipeline for future collaborations beyond the assigned DAO
