Update, Cancel, and Insert a Session

Update an Existing Session

1. The Senior Buddy goes to the homepage of the created session.

2. The Senior Buddy selects “Edit Existing Session”.

3. A new window will appear, and Senior Buddy selects the session to update.

4. The Senior Buddy scrolls down and chooses the time slot to change.

5. After selecting the new time slot, the Senior Buddy clicks “Edit Time”.

6.1 The session is successfully updated.


6.2 If the new time slot overlaps with any of the Senior Buddy’s other sessions, the system will display the error: “Time overlaps with another connection session”

6.3 If the session is not registered at least 5 hours before the current time, the system will display the error: “Connection sessions must be registered at least 5 hours in advance”.

Delete an Existing Session

1. Senior Buddy goes to the homepage of the created session.

2. The Senior Buddy selects “Edit Existing Session”.

3. Senior Buddy scrolls down and selects “Cancel Session”.

4. A message will confirm that the session has been successfully updated.

5. Once cancelled, the session will no longer appear in the Senior Buddy’s calendar.

 

Important Note: For sessions that already have Senior registered, the SeniorBuddy CANNOT UPDATE or CANCEL the session.

 

Insert a New Session to the Calendar

1. The Senior Buddy goes to the created topic.

 

2. The Senior Buddy selects “Add New Session”.

3.     When the new window appears, the Senior Buddy chooses the date and time slot for the new session.

4. Senior Buddy clicks “Save”.

4.1 The new connection session is successfully added.


4.2 If the new session time overlaps with any of Senior Buddy’s other sessions, the system will display the error: “Time overlaps with another connection session”


4.3 If the session is not created at least 5 hours before the current time, the system will display the error: “Connection sessions must be registered at least 5 hours in advance”
