Preparing before the Session begins

At least 5 minutes before the Session starts, please prepare your Internet connection and set up your devices to ensure the Session runs smoothly.

Use a fast and stable Internet connection

To ensure good video call quality, a fast and stable Internet connection is required. TECD recommends using WiFi, as it is usually faster and more stable than 4G mobile data. Additionally, video calls can consume a lot of 4G data.

Setting up devices before joining the practical Session

In TECD Sessions, Seniors and SeniorBuddies will not only chat but also experience a Subject together, such as creating a recycled craft.

For experience-based Sessions, TECD supports Seniors in using two devices: one is your smartphone for recording your actions, and the other is a laptop or tablet to observe the SeniorBuddies's actions and sharing.

Session starts

Join the Session on the first device (smartphone)

Once you've accessed the “Phiên kết nối” (Session), please tap the "Bắt đầu Phiên” (Start Session) button to begin your Session.

• If you can't hear the sound from the Senior or the volume is low, it could be because the external speaker is turned off. Please press the "Bật loa ngoài” (Turn on speaker) button.
• You can select the screen you want to enlarge from the small frame showing the participants in the Session.
• You can communicate with the Senior in the message box.

Join the Session on the second device (laptop)

For practical Sessions using two devices, you will continue to join the Session on your second device, which is a laptop or tablet. The steps on a tablet are similar to those on the phone mentioned earlier. This section guides you on how to join the Session on a laptop.

Please visit and log in to your account with the registered email at the website https://tecd.kambria.io/, select the Session you want to join, and click “Bắt đầu phiên ngay” (Start the Session now) on the web. You will then join the Session to interact with the Senior.

Notes when sharing your screen on a computer:

• When you start screen sharing, if you encounter a screen mirroring effect (as illustrated in the image below), simply switch to another browser tab or a different application window to resolve the issue.
• This is a common occurrence when using the screen sharing feature in video call applications. The screen appears duplicated because you're sharing the very screen that is displaying the sharing interface itself.
