Ms. Phuong's Feedback on the Travel Subject Session 

Participating in the Session made me feel connected to society and to the SeniorBuddy, making me feel younger and realizing that there was much knowledge I needed to acquire. It was a wonderful experience. My hobbies were discussed and listened to, creating a connection that I found very good. One interesting thing I wanted to share with the group was that I had been very tired and had trouble sleeping for the past few days. But after talking with the SeniorBuddy, I felt more relaxed and at peace. Perhaps this is also a way for older people like me to have a place to speak, to express our feelings and find a source of 'healing'. I hope that there will be more sharing and connecting Sessions so that older people like me have the opportunity to express our feelings and thoughts.

Also participating in the Session to support Ms. Phuong, Ms. Lien, a family member, had the following interesting sharing: 

Observing the Session between my aunt and her friend Ha, I found the conversation style to be very proactive and full of sharing and suggestions. After the Session, I briefly interviewed my aunt, and she shared that she felt very relaxed, at peace, and considered it a form of healing. This Session was also an opportunity for me to listen more from my family. I heard my aunt talk about her neighborhood work and her health, as well as cute stories like how she bought fish balls for the children's activities. These experiences are truly valuable, helping me to feel a strong sense of connection and sharing within the family. I am curious and looking forward to experiencing Sessions with other Subjects such as health, digital literacy, recycling crafts…
