How to Troubleshoot OTP Code Issues

1. Common Error Messages

  • “Failed to send verification code”: The system was unable to send the OTP at this time.
  • “Verification code request timed out”: The code could not be sent because the process took too long.

2. How to Fix It

Step 1: Try again after 1 minute
Wait about 60 seconds, then request the code again.

Step 2: Check your network connection

  • If you’re using Wi-Fi, try switching to 4G/5G (or vice versa).
  • Turn on Airplane Mode for about 10 seconds, then turn it off to refresh the connection.

Step 3: Check your phone number

  • Make sure you entered the correct phone number.
  • Some mobile carriers (e.g., Mobifone, Vinaphone) may automatically block messages from unknown or service numbers, preventing you from receiving OTPs. Check whether your phone or carrier is blocking messages from service numbers.

Step 4: Check your SMS inbox

  • Carefully check your Spam / Junk / Blocked Messages folder.
  • Some phones automatically filter messages from unknown or service numbers, which may cause the OTP to be moved to these folders.
