TECD Partner Alignment & Termination Policy

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 107 views

The Tech-powered Elderly Care DAO (TECD) thrives on active, transparent, and values-aligned partnerships. This policy outlines how we address situations in which a partner’s participation becomes inactive, misaligned, or contrary to our collaboration principles.

1. Purpose

To maintain the integrity and impact of TECD, all partners are expected to actively contribute in accordance with the activities agreed upon during onboarding.

This policy ensures fairness, accountability, and respect for all parties involved in supporting seniors and SeniorBuddies.

2. Grounds for Review

A partner may be subject to review if any of the following occur:

  • Prolonged inactivity without prior notice
(e.g., no engagement in agreed-upon TECD activities by the expected timeline)
  • Repeated failure to follow agreed deliverables
(such as commitments to community engagement, communication, or program coordination)
  • Misalignment with TECD values, including public misrepresentation of the program
(e.g., claiming ownership of the TECD product instead of partnership)
  • Misconduct, such as unethical behavior, discriminatory actions, or breach of trust in interactions with Seniors, SeniorBuddies, or other partners

3. Review & Communication Process

Initial Check-in – Kambria will reach out to the partner to clarify concerns and offer support to realign.

Improvement Period – The partner will be given up to 2 weeks to address concerns and demonstrate improvement.

Final Review – If no improvement is shown, Kambria may:

  • Adjust the partner’s commitments
  • Place the partnership on hold
  • Conclude the partnership

4. Effects of Termination

If a partnership is concluded:

  • The partner’s name and logo will be removed from the TECD website and promotional materials
  • The partner will lose access to partner-only channels, calls, or documents
  • Any ongoing collaborative activities will be formally closed, archived, or reassigned depending on program needs

5. Reinstatement

Partners who have addressed the reasons for termination may request reinstatement during a future open call.
Decisions will be based on program needs, alignment with TECD values, and past collaboration history.

6. Respect & Professionalism

All communications and decisions under this policy will be conducted with respect and professionalism. Our priority is always alignment and improvement first — termination is considered only when collaboration is no longer mutually beneficial or aligned with TECD’s mission.
